We had an amazing club grading evening on Monday 29th April and are so proud of all our students who took part – they are all stars!
100% pass rate, with fourteen A Grades, which is a club record! Thanks to all of those who helped make the event run smoothly and to the parents/family and friends who supported students who were grading – it’s very much appreciated.
The next club grading is Monday 15th July, at the Thrapston Plaza.
We came home with medals at the TAGB English Championships (23.03.24). Well done to our students who took part. As a club, we are super proud of our students for taking part individually and representing us as a club in this competition. We are now looking ahead and forward to the Welsh Championships on 19th May in Cardiff. Let’s get our crew together for this one!
We recently had four of our students promoted to 1st Dan and another student promoted to 2nd Dan. As a club, we are so proud of them, of their hard work and achievements here, and wanted to say a massive well done to them all.
Phil in particular has watched these students develop their skills and has found it a privilege to be part of their journey over the years. He has watched them grow into the awesome black belts that they are today!

A big congratulations to all of our students who took part in the TAGB Midlands Championships on 29th January 2023, in Kettering. Overall there were 750 competitors/50+ clubs involved in the comp, and for our club, we had 29 taking part, and came away with 24 medals, comprising; 5 golds, 9 silvers, and 10 bronze medals from individual patterns, individual sparring, and tag teams! – this is an amazing achievement – well done all!
