About Us
East Northants 1st Taekwondo is a friendly family-oriented club run by Philip Weston-Riley, 6th Degree Black Belt. We have three clubs based at Corby, Kettering, and Thrapston and currently have over 180 members.
We always welcome new members of all ages from 3 years old into our Skillz program, Adults into our Taekwondo Classes in the evenings. Your first session is free, just come along in loose clothing (eg jogging bottoms and a t-shirt) and we`ll get you started straight away.
As a family group, you can all train and grade at the same time, so kids bring your parents and parents bring your kids!
Head Instructor Philip Weston-Riley started training in Tae Kwon-do in 1987. Achieving 1st Degree Black Belt Status in 1990. and is currently a 6th degree Black Belt with the TAGB and his loyal team of instructors are here to help you achieve your goals

What do I need to wear?
What should I wear? Loose clothing (shorts/tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt) It's a good idea to also bring a bottle of water.

Do I have to be fit? No, the classes are built around becoming fitter gradually.

How old do I have to be? There are special classes for 3-5year olds and 5+ all the way up to Adults.
