East Northants 1st Taekwondo

East Northants 1st Taekwondo is a friendly, family-oriented club run by Philip Weston-Riley, 6th Degree Black Belt. We have three clubs based in Corby, Kettering and Thrapston and currently have over 250 members, from 3-year-olds taking their first steps to adults starting out in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond.

Adults and teenagers are at the heart of our club. Whether you want to get fit, learn real self-defence, de-stress after a long day or simply try something new, our adult and teen classes are built for complete beginners. No experience needed. No judgement. Just start. Many of our adult members hadn’t trained in years when they walked through the door, and now they wouldn’t miss a session. We welcome new members of all ages from 3 years old. Book a free trial with us and we’ll get you started straight away! As a family group, you can all train and grade at the same time, so kids bring your parents and parents bring your kids!

Head Instructor Philip Weston-Riley started training in Tae Kwon-Do in 1987, achieved his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1990, and is currently a 6th Degree Black Belt with the TAGB. A seven-time World Championship medallist and two-time World Champion, still competing and winning medals today, he’s living proof that martial arts is for life. Philip and his loyal team of instructors are here to help you achieve your goals.
